EcoCart is designed to raise awareness about the environmental impact of e-commerce and promote mindful shopping practices.
The public installation features a 1:1.5 ratio, symbolizing the Paris Agreement’s goal where the 1.5 side is represented by 12 boxes, representing the 12’s SDG goal on responsible consumption.
It has four front-side views: one highlighting the environmental impact of e-commerce, another offering solution tips, a third visualizing the impact with a QR code leading to a detailed website, and the fourth providing a project description.
The project can be expanded with the Kingston council, including a newsletter subscription and an Instagram account.
