In this film AWARDS, I mainly take part as the director and script writer. I wanted to use this opportunity to explore the use of long takes in narrative filmmaking. My goal was to improve my understanding and application of long takes, also to experiment with different filmmaking styles. AWARDS is a story entirely by using static long takes for this project. It tells a story about a single mother and a young student studying abroad alone, They have both lost the company of their families for different reasons, but through their interactions, they come to understand the importance of family companionship, leading them to return to their families.
