My Project is called Blush! It explores the unique and shared experiences of personal embarrassment and discomfort. Looking into this project I soon found blushing is something we can’t stop and prevent. This led me to taking on a new angle, taking a larger focus on embracing this emotion instead of shying away from it
Since this has been a project to do with one’s personal embarrassment, I’ve designed a bench for any one person that seamlessly blends in with the surrounding park furniture. However, I’ve constructed this seating to have a slanted base in which one awkwardly slides back into whilst their legs dangle above the ground. Ultimately this should prompt the users to blush and engage with this embarrassment in a public setting and soon realise that it’s not bad and should embrace the funny nature of it.
