Memory Fragments explores the therapeutic potential of artistic expression in processing and transforming haunting memories, fostering emotional healing and connection between creators and viewers. Motivated by my lifelong feelings of displacement due to frequent moves and a complicated relationship with the concept of “home,” I aim to record these personal memories—both joyful and painful—and observe how art can transform them. Inspired by previous projects, which highlighted the importance of storytelling and collaboration, I opened this deeply personal project to the public. Initially focused on using illustration as a tool to process haunting memories, the project has evolved into a journey of simply reflecting on memories. I aim to create a platform where memories can be explored and recorded through collage, offering a universal means of emotional expression and connection.
Through collage, we give our memories form, transforming moments that linger in our minds into tangible expressions of emotion. Memory Fragments is a space where personal stories find new meaning, and where art becomes a tool for healing, connection, and understanding
