The Epilogue is a womenswear collection inspired by my grandmother’s love for ballet, drawing from her collection of ballet programmes. The classic silhouettes from these programmes created a starting point for the collection, evoking a nostalgic yet contemporary mood. Each look in the collection is influenced by iconic dances and performances, celebrating the elegance of ballet and exploring the various aspects of femininity. Through the use of layering fabrics and appliqué techniques, the collection explores a range textures and silhouettes. Also, by the use of colour I tried to modernize and create a more playful energy to help contrast the elegance of ballet.
