This project envisions future burial spaces in a fully virtual realm. After death, each person will have a digital persona residing in a digital cemetery. The cemetery provides services for customizing virtual funerals and afterlife living spaces. Individuals can pre-design these spaces while alive, and upon death, their digital persona will be activated. A virtual funeral is held as planned, and the persona resides in the afterlife world. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral virtually, and afterward, they can visit the digital afterlife at designated times to avoid over-dependence on the virtual world.
