Move

            to make space

               make space to

                                    move.

My work is about navigating through a playground of the familiar and unfamiliar to try to understand. Through installation and sculpture, it combines space, object and the body as a form of communication to explore how we determine and navigate space.

Relationship, observation and awareness constants. The installations proposed combine object, form, photography and space to create environments that prompt feelings of awkwardness and questioning. Functioning like a dot-to-dot, they engage with absence, giving attention to the ‘space between’ to encourage active presence of the seeking body.
