Hi! I’m Pablo de Juan. I’m one of those people that always had an insane amount of interests, and for a long time I didn’t know what to do with them.
Over all my years in uni I have played with many different fields and mediums, especially 3D design and visual communication. Lately, I discover I could blend together all my passions in making video-essays, bordering on documentary. If there is one thing I could d do for the rest of my life, it would be learning more and more, and this medium is perfect for that
My first work in this field explores the socio-cultural impact that mass tourism has had in Spain. I speak of the origins of the phenomenon, making several case studies on famous places in the mediterranean tourist world: like the Balearic islands of Benidorm. I talk about the current problematic with the proliferation of airbnbs and interview many experts and locals to get as close as possible to the truth as i can. I hope you will love it as much as I did making it!
