Raj is a self-taught photographer from India. After doing his undergrads in Engineering, he discovered his passion for photography and image making. Despite serving as the university’s official photographer, he frequently felt his efforts were overlooked and underappreciated. This experience motivated him to create a club for photographers to showcase their talent and receive the recognition they deserve. Raj’s personal experience of being undervalued inspired this project – SPOTLIGHT
The KUSCO (Kingston University Service Company) which has been providing essential support to Kingston University since 1997, employs more than 400 staff members who are responsible for various tasks such as catering, cleaning, security, maintenance, and facility management. They are responsible for almost everything that happens around the university. But, unfortunately, not a lot of people know about their existence. The main objective of this project is to highlight the contributions of these often-overlooked individuals and provide them with the recognition they deserve.
