This project invites the viewer to explore the legacy of the British Empire through a multi-media discussion on the relevancy of monuments and statues around central London. The screen printed posters use layers to both highlight and censor certain figures or monuments, while the plaques also comment on the irrelevancy of some of these historical figures in the modern day. The interactive map invites users to find their own connections as well as follow a guided route highlighting many of the monuments that still exist in reference to the Empire.
