It has been noticed that, as per all the interviewees, social media is offering both opportunities and challenges as parents believe that it has become difficult for them to control the influence of media on their children, while the pastor believes that people are becoming more vulnerable due to use of social media and its content. However, they believe that the current media environment is impacting education positively by providing increased access to information, making it easier for them to learn new things. The focus for learning is on YouTube, which is considered an educational platform, making it easier for them to gather and consume knowledge.
Moreover, it has been noticed that media also serves as a means of facilitating communication, but it hinders work practice due to limited direct communication among individuals. The findings indicated ethical concerns, making it essential for people to ensure that they are being utilised within the correct boundaries. The findings suggest that even though media functions as the main valuable tool for work and education, it also impacts modern parenting. It is important to manage its role in daily life so that it shapes daily life positively. To adapt to the evolving digital landscape, it is important to develop the balance through which the outcomes of the current media environment can be achieved.
