Specialising in charcoal drawing and sculpture, the subjects in my work are confrontations of the self, capturing the dysphoria experienced once separating from a public, performative self, to be left with a private one. Inspired by the work of sociologist Erving Goffman, my work explores the presence of multiple versions of the self, equally present while in conflict with each other.
