This project aims to support parents in balancing career development and childcare, addressing the challenges modern families face. By creating a parent-child support system that includes a flexible childcare network and an app, the project integrates daycare, co-working spaces, and career development programs. This allows parents to engage in both parenting and personal growth without sacrificing career advancement, promoting equal sharing of family responsibilities. In Taiwan, traditional gender roles still heavily impact women, especially mothers, often forcing them to choose between career and family. As a result, many women leave their jobs during the parenting period, limiting personal and career growth. Taiwan’s low birth rate, one of the lowest globally, raises questions about the societal and workplace pressures that discourage women from having children. This project explores how the lack of support for women in both parenting and career development contributes to this issue, aiming to provide a solution that empowers parents and fosters a more inclusive environment.
