‘Apotheosis’
Drawing parallels between queer people and deities, our community has always been part of mythology and ancient cultures. Through highlighting the interconnectedness between queerness and divinity, we can recognize the complexity and fragility of gender as a whole beyond the ‘normative’. Honouring the unique beauty of gender that transcends the traditional binary and celebrating both the fragility of queer existence as well as the resilience of queer identity.
