Daisy Harrison-Broninski is an illustrator who uses papercut and costume to bring her characters and drawings to life. Her artwork explores making the nature, folklore and landscape she grew up with tangible. Inspired by traditional storytelling techniques, she uses lightwork and shadow puppets to create magical and immersive pieces. Her latest work is a prototype for a customisable, interactive shadow-theatre-book that allows the reader to recreate their dreams, or tell untold stories from their imagination. She is interested in using her work for environmental activism. She has illustrated for journals The Land and Climate Review and The Civil Society Review.
