A project exploring various textile and surface manipulation techniques which can be used for bespoke couture garments inspired by the ‘Ophelia’ painting by John Everett Millais in 1982. Inspired by the environment surrounding the Hogsmill River, I experimented with upcycling and soluble mediums which mirror elements of nature. This project captured various stages of Ophelia’s last moments.
