This project presents the rebrand for the Kingston based, gluten-free bakery called ‘Glutopia’. The concept I went for was accentuating this idea of utopia and creating an imaginative brand. Using the swirl motif on the letter ‘O’, I hope to hypnotise the viewer into the fantasy land of tasty gluten-free cakes (which many gluten-free people will think doesn’t exist!). The bright, almost psychedelic feel to the brand puts it aside from the traditional style of bakery branding and so I believe this is a great USP. I focused on Instagram as the main promotional platform as this was something that needed updating the most (along with their website). This project was set by Johnson Banks design studio and this project was a great opportunity to gain feedback from experienced professionals and gain further insights into the design world.
