Final film synopsis – “My Granny never had a Yorkshire accent. When I was younger, she used to correct the way I would say “butter” to received pronunciation. My animation addresses the connotations of butter brands (such as Lurpak) and their association to social class, although at the end of the day, butter is still butter, despite it’s brand or the way it is pronounced.”
