Henry is a London-based artist who specialises in animation and moving image. Using a combination of pen and ink drawings, watercolour, and digital colouring techniques, Henry creates captivating animations that explore the human experience. With a focus on documentary-style work, he employs research-based observational drawings to construct his own and other people’s experiences through animation, often touching on themes of memory, identity, and human connection. Henry intends to continue working with animation and film, eagerly anticipating the opportunity to bring new ideas to the industry.

His animation ‘A Very Good Time’ documents the memories of Jean-Jacques Figeac, who was the Head Chef at a French restaurant he co-owned in Chelsea throughout the 1970’s. The animation explains the unique concept of the restaurant, capturing its atmosphere and characteristics. The animation combines ink drawings, watercolour and digital colouring to evoke a sense of nostalgia that explores themes of memory and the mid-century dining experience.
