As life experiences go on, people’s brains keep compressing or losing some memories of the past. I always feel sad and regretted when I find that some precious memories have become fragmented. That’s why I designed Memory Piece Space (mps.) to save and preserve my broken memories.

Inspired by jigsaw puzzles and minesweepers, mps. transforms each piece of memory into a complete jigsaw puzzle and stores the subtle connections between memory details. In addition, mps. will also encourage users to repair their memories and look back on themselves by simulating the dropping of pieces.

‘A good idea should be different from others and different from oneself in the past.’

This idea comes from a world-famous gaming company, Nintendo. They make games that are not only new and outstanding, but also constantly go beyond the works in the past.
