The Fair Play Campaign

The (Long) Story (Short):
Women’s football is increasingly growing in popularity however it is given far less funding than the Men’s game. Discoveries during this project were that Women’s Football needs more funding, more people supporting and respecting Women footballers, and finally more girls and women playing the game itself.

My personal interests led to a branding project called the ‘Fair Play Campaign’. What if the Fair Play Campaign could address all these issues? One aspect of the ‘Fair Play’ campaign is beer, as it is normally sold at stadiums, pavilions or pubs – all places where football is shown. A donation of a portion of the cost of a beer goes to local teams, a book and QR code educates the masses and a website gets more women and girls playing by linking to the England websites ‘find a team’ section, alongside cones and exercises on the box with an inflatable ball inside. Furthermore, I am thinking of creating football scarfs, and a designed kit for those who found a team through the ‘Fair Play Campaign’ to build a community.

For this project I also dabbled in multiple technologies, but, most notably, I focussed on using Artificial intelligence for good. Dalle 2 informed some illustrations and then I edited them further.

This campaign aims elevate the platform on which Women’s football can continue to grow by increasing the funding available to teams, to decrease discrimination of Women footballers and to help bridge the gap between the genders in football.

Football should no longer be a man’s game.
