A 10 minute visually aesthetic film focused on the way colour can affect the mood and atmosphere given to a character and environment within its world. It centres around the busy city and features one character, that character being the creator of the film. It takes on a personal aspect, depicting important areas of the city which have been a part of my life this year. The use of colour represents the in between space of reality and death, with some shots  being recorded in a hazy state as if it’s a fleeting memory. The use of red symbolises danger and risk whereas the blue represents peace, calmness and isolation. Some collection of scenes are short and snappy whereas others are longer meaning they have had a bigger impact in my life whether that be an emotion its evoked or its constant appearance. Another aspect to the film is it use of music, the mellow, slow music allows the audience to feel calm and peaceful and it reenforces the tone of the film. Along with the film there are lights surrounding the monitor in its installation, and a strip of LED going around the border of the structure. I’ve been fascinated with colour for a while and wanted to incorporate that within the space as well as in the film. The floor space  allows the audience to step inside the booth to have a closer connection to what it being shown as well as feeling immersed within the four walls.

Visually pleasing and colourful film following the life of a character in an experimental and abstract way. The space created allows the audience to take away their own interpretation of what happens within the film as well as the emotions or thoughts they had throughout the immersive experience
