I find that people always prefer to use a camera to record a moment in the present so that they can look back at it sometime in the future. Just like my mum used to take pictures to document me when I was little, when I grew up I could feel the touch by looking back at old pictures at random. I think pictures are an effective way of capturing childhood memories, pictures that capture the joy and innocence of childhood moments in a moment that would otherwise be forgotten. Because growing up, if I don’t have images to help me remember, it’s as if that memory of mine doesn’t exist, it’s completely forgotten and I can’t find proof of my true existence. Nor do I know who I am or where I came from.

Our childhood memories are precious and valuable, they contain some of the happiest and carefree times of our formative years. However, over time, these memories can fade or be forgotten. Images have proven to be an effective medium for evoking childhood memories and allowing people to re-experiencethe joy and innocence of the past. The aim of this project is to help young people relive their childhood and evoke their childhood memories through the use of images and a variety of media. By recalling childhood games, triggering memories and creating interactive experiences, i aim to bring inner satisfaction and joy to participants by making them feel the joy and carefree emotions of the past.

I find that people always like to record a moment in the present with their cameras so that they can have a chance to look back on it in the future. Just as my mum used photos to record my growth when I was a child, I can feel that touch when I casually look through old photos when I grow up.
