My project is based on the book “The Attention Economy”, which describes how time is a valuable asset for people and how there are many social media outlets that use different means to attract attention for profit. But I don’t want to look at this issue critically here.

For example, the interface of some apps is designed without a time display, which actually leads people to forget about the passage of time when using the credit; the scrolling of the push screen on the home page can be extended indefinitely; and the video will automatically play the next content after it has finished playing. You can see that many applications use interaction design to change people’s original habits. So this project wants to discuss how interaction design can change people’s habits in order to attract them.

Each application changes people’s habits through four steps: tigger, action, reward, and investment.
