A Grockle is a holidaymaker in Devon that often interrupts the normal flow of a locals day. To give locals an easier time and allow holidaymakers to make the most of their holiday in Devon, I designed a website that would work as a guide for Grockles. It would inform tourists on how to be given the local treatment, and experience Devon in the best way possible. As there is an unmistakeable demographic of tourists that usually visit Devon, I wanted to target a more niche group of people who are often forgotten for this type of tourism, which is young adults. I used a playful, modern font and monochrome illustration to appeal to this audience.
