I started this project to bring awareness to the Korean War, which has the stigma of being the most forgotten war.  At first, I thought the Korean War was a matter between the countries. But the more I researched, the more I got a glimpse into the personal histories of those who actually experienced the war. The victims of the Korean War still want their stories to be told. I want to show the audience how perception of the Korean War has changed from past to present. It also highlights what the country and individuals should focus on in the future to ensure that the Korean War is no longer forgotten.

The poster is divided into three stages, with two posters per stage, for a total of six posters. Each set of posters consists of a poster for the outer layer and a poster for the content. The outer layer posters show mementos left behind by Korean War veterans. At the bottom of each poster has a word that symbolizes them. Those words represent the earth (Lithosphere, Outer core, Inner core), and time (Past, Present, Future).

Those memories are written down on a piece of paper and people call it history. But this is very cruel to some people. For those who live in the present, history may be just a record. But for others, it’s the time they actually lived through. So remembering history is important.
