I don’t want those items you just pick up and throw over your shoulder to be a blip in the timeline of our days, forgotten and lost.
We all pick up different things which interest us, often just looked at and then thrown over our shoulder never to be seen again. With what I’ve designed and made these things are caught and collected to be indexed at a later date.
These small insignificant items build up and show your obsessions, your interests show you in a physical and tangible form.
Let’s not be scared to obsess, its not scary, its healthy and most of all it is – Exciting!
We shouldn’t fear obsession, obsession comes from the latin Obsceterae which is to sit with. To obsess is to sit with and think about. Obsession is a healthy thing, not something to be scared of.
