Existing in four parts, this installation performs as a means of self-hate and self-discovery. A self-portrait oil painting is leaning on a dining chair with a TV showing a video exploring a far-cry for help. A sonically disparate sound piece protests underneath the dining chair, through a speaker from a previous performance I did on integration. What is left are two arm casts of my arm and my partner’s, enclosing a body of work painted as panels on canvas, with my face cast in the centre, directly parallel to the speaker and TV, existing as the stimulus from which all the work around came from.
