Fairfield has been historically known for hosting a variety of town events, such as circuses and festival markets, where numerous economic transactions were conducted in the past. It would be interesting to turn it into a concentration of people’s events that would be different from the historical ones, according to the needs of the existing inhabitants. Following research into Kingston’s history and existing activities, Fairfield Park was designed as a purpose-built events venue, with the main open space divided into public informal recreation space and a space for sporting activities.
