This comic was inspired by everything the author herself was able to hear about his neighbours during his stay in England. It’s a comic book about getting to know yourself better by observing others.
During my year abroad, because my neighbours’ windows were so close to me, I could hear them almost every day. Sometimes it was their singing, sometimes it was their arguing, talking, partying, and making love. From the beginning, I was very resistant and disgusted by it all, but later on, I started to pay attention to my neighbour’s life, imagining the other person’s image, and even feeling that the other person was the other side of me, the part of me that I subconsciously longed to show off. I felt our faces slowly overlapping.

The Bible says, “Love your neighbour as yourself.”
