Plank Plates
I pursued this project as I found that the waste produced, from exclusively using woodturning or a CNC router, is disproportionate to the amount of material in the end product for wooden bowls/vessel objects.
I wanted to give more value to offcuts.
I came up with a design that can be applied to any plank of “imperfect” timber through CNC and woodturning.
