Tess Perren (She/Her) is an Illustrator Animator from West Yorkshire. She works between mediums and forefronts experimentation in her process. Her experimental animation ‘Call It a Day’ deals with the idea of the mundane and the repetition of the everyday. The animation is produced through a variety of techniques, including mono print, riso print, collage, physically and digitally edited images, and more.

The animation is followed up by illustrated objects documenting process and also developing further on the outcome. This can be seen in a riso printed zine, a papier-mâché sculpture, an Appliqué piece, and a selection of riso prints.
