Theresa Elena Longvastøl is an illustrator and animator who dives into nostalgia, childhood memories and the everyday life of humans. She works mostly in traditional digital 2D animation. She enjoys making stories with characters that she hopes others can relate to personally. Research is a big part of her practice, her favorite research method is talking to and interviewing real people. A lot of her art is placed in nature or rural areas, because she grew up in Norway in areas like her artwork. She hopes that when the audience looks at her work they will connect to it as emotionally as she does.
