We are all connected in a worldly web of network where everyone is tangled together. At times of feeling small and insignificant, it reminds us that we are not so alone. My work intends to portray this inexplicable complexity of human being. Everyone is going through their own motion, living with their own struggles, happiness and pain. It connects all human as everyone suffers in different ways, but there is also positive moment that uplifts us and brings us hope. Life is extremely complicated, we all have desires, regret, love, resentment, clarity, contentment, grief and hope. Although we can never fully understand the unique experience of others, we can still be compassionate and empathize with them; This is what makes us human.

As viewers are invited to leave something behind, the mussel shell becomes a vessel that carries the voice of viewer. The materiality of garden twine (string) communicates relations of people can easily be tangled, unraveling the underlying, hidden relation that connects all of us together.
